Janet Ann Wright

Janet Ann (Ferris) Wright Charlotte, MI Janet was born on December 20, 1934 in Lansing and passed away at the age of 75 on April 18, 2010. Married to Charles Wright on November 15, 1952, he passed away in 2008. They were married for 55 years and built their home where they raised their six children in Charlotte, Michigan. Janet’s sole career, the most important of all, was as a homemaker and mother. She was a member, with her husband, of the Mid-Michigan Model A Club of Lansing and the Crank & Throttle Model A Club of Olivet. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathryn (Baird) Spears and Clair Ferris; her stepfather, Dennis Spears and stepmother, Marge Hackel. Survivors include: her children, Debra (Gary) Gearhart, William Wright, Candace (James) Patterson, Sandra (Daniel) Vandlen, Renee (Jerry) Bellon and Robin (George) Blanche; grandchildren, Janelle (Scott) Duffey, Marcie (Ryan) Graham, Gary (Karmen) Gearhart II, Douglas Patterson, Daniel II & Emma Vandlen, Tara, Jimi & Jerry Bellon, Elizabeth & Andrew Blanche; Brother, Clair Ferris, Jr.; Step-sister, Ginger (Jim) Rennaker; sister-in-law, Alice Martens; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with John Bailey, Minister of Charlotte Church of Christ officiating. Interment in the Gresham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
