Janice Lynn Clark

Janice L. Clark, age 76, of Charlotte passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, with her family by her side at Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence. She was born July 14, 1941, in Lansing the daughter of Robert L. and Thelma A. (Riffel) Lyons. Janice was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially adored caring for her great grandchildren. Janice loved spending time together with her many friends and family, especially, if delicious margaritas with salt on the rim were being enjoyed by all. She was a life long member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Lansing and the Red Hat Society. Janice is survived by her children: Doug DeVlieger of California, Dan (Linda) DeVlieger of Arizona, Vicki (Karl Grinstern) VanGelder of Charlotte; grandchildren: Megan (Crystal TeVelde) Paradine, Kayle Roose, Joey DeVlieger, Jaime DeVlieger, Nikki DeVlieger, Cameron VanGelder, Dillon DeVlieger; great grandchildren: Gabe, Aiden, and Sammy; siblings: Nancy Lefanty, David (Linda) Lyons, Jim (Helen) Lyons, and Beth Ann (Terry) Lamb. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Gregory VanGelder II. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 11 AM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Janices memory to Hospice of Lansing.
