Jeanette H. Joseph Nashville, Michigan Age 84 passed away peacefully Sept. 18, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at Fairview AFC Home, Grand Ledge. Jeanette was born June 16, 1928 in Potterville, MI the daughter of Emiel and Mary (DeSloover) Martens. She was a 1946 Graduate of Charlotte High School, was a member of the Potterville O.E.S and the Potterville United Methodist Church. She had been co-owner, with her husband, Donald P. Joseph, Sr., of Carl’s Markets of Nashville, Lake Odessa and Dimondale. Surviving are: 4 sons, David C. (Lana) Joseph of Lansing, Robert P. Joseph of Potterville, Donald P. (Jean) Joseph of Dimondale and John Mark Joseph of Lake Odessa; 9 grandchildren, Angela, Andrew, Jamie, Robert, Jr., Scott, Jodi, Mark, John, Jr., and Leslie; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Yvonne Chapman of Elkhart, IN; brother-in-law, Allan Kretschman of Scottsdale, AZ; several nieces & nephews including special niece, Karen Kretschman. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 57 years, Donald P. Joseph, Sr. in 2003; sisters, Irene and Martha and brother, August. Per Jeanette’s request, Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at the Potterville United Methodist Church with Pastor Lyne Stull-Lipps officiating. Inurnment will be in the Benton Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the McLaren Hospice.
