Jeanette Rooney

Jeanette Marie Rooney, age 64, of Charlotte, passed away May 3, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born August 2, 1956, in Shelton, Washington the daughter of Ralph and Virginia (Bliss) Landis. On January 1, 2004, she married Philip Timothy Rooney near her home in Shelton, Washington. Jeanette worked the majority of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed caring for others. Jeanette cherished her many pets throughout the years but was especially fond of her cats. Jeanette is survived by her husband of 17 years, Philip; siblings: Bob Landis, Peggy Robinson, Hank Landis, Charlotte (Bob) Nichols, Jim Landis, Debbie Walls, Pat Simpson; mother and father-in-law, Philip F. and Laura Rooney; brother-in-law, Dave Rooney; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Mike Rooney. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
