Jo Anne Reeves

Jo Anne Reeves, age 80, of Orange, California, formerly of Charlotte, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born May 27, 1941, in Richland Township, Michigan the daughter of Cletus and Bethel (Miller) Graham. Josy as she was known by her siblings and close friends had a happy childhood. She cherished her family and friends and loved studying genealogy. Jo Anne volunteered for many years with the Welch Museum in Sunfield where she was responsible for creating the family files in the genealogy room. She also served as a valued Board Member of the Sunfield Historical Society. Jo Anne loved playing any and all types of card games and she would collect spoons to commemorate her many journeys. She also loved bowling, quilting, dancing, and reading. Jo Anne was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her sons: Brendon (Sara) Reeves of Orange, California, Zachary (Jessica) Reeves of Tustin, California; grandchildren: Grace, Logan, Benjamin, Justice, Jazmine, Jalyn; sister, Cleta Hunt of Kalkaska, MI; former husband James Reeves of Tustin, CA and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joseph Williams; and siblings: Gloria Hayes & Rodney “Mike” Graham. Remembrance & Viewing will be held at Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. A graveside service at Perry Cemetery in Brookfield Township will follow at 1:30 P.M. Celebration of Life Reception will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Charlotte, MI following Graveside Services.
