John G. Conroy

John G. Conroy, age 55, of Charlotte, MI, died Wed. Dec. 21, 2011 at his residence. John was born Jan. 3, 1956 in Lansing, MI, the son of George and Mary (Lesher) Conroy and was a longtime resident of Charlotte coming from Lansing. He had served in the U. S. Army and was a retired employee of General Motors in Lansing from where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Surviving are: his wife of 29 years, Rosalie (Brzycki) Conroy; two sons, William Conroy of Charlotte and Thomas J. Conroy of Nashville; his parents, George and Mary Conroy of Florida; five siblings, Linda (Jeff) Wonch of Lansing, Jerry (Cindy) Conroy of Charlotte, Mary Pickett & Marv of Charlotte, Mike Conroy & Kathy of Charlotte and Diane Perkins of Charlotte and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Darwin Kuhl officiating. Interment will be in the West Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to the Eaton Community Hospice, 2675 S.
