Julia Anna Perry

Julia Anna Perry, age 82, of DeWitt, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was born July 26, 1941, in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of George and Rose (Vijko) Timko. Julia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and loved spending time together. Julia enjoyed gardening and watching nature from her window. She had a heart of gold and was always made sure others were well cared for. Julia had a feisty personality and always kept life interesting.
Julia is survived by her children, Rose (Norman) Hoover of DeWitt, Doug (Shirley) Spalding of Grand Ledge, Gary (Karyl) Spalding of Grand Ledge, Craig (Kacie) Davis of Lansing; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Turpening, Ernie (Ruth) Timko, Barb Carroll, Steve Timko; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius Perry; daughter, Laurie Spalding; and sister, Joann Severance.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 3:30 P.M. at Liberty Church 12745 Georgia Ave, Grand Ledge, MI 48837, with Pastor Rob Fisher officiating.
