Julietta June Cox, age 80 of Battle Creek, went to be with the Lord on January 25th, 2018 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born September 15th, 1937 in Lee Township, Calhoun County, MI the daughter of Harry Franklin and Olive Cary May (Anderson) Ripley. Julie was born in Olivet and moved to Albion with her husband in 1966 where she resided for years. She married Murl "Leo" Cox in 1955. Julia worked on the farm most her life and loved taking care of her flowers and any animal, big or small. She worked at Corning Glass in Albion until it closed and then various jobs until she started working at Albion College where she later retired from. Julia also ran an upholstery business from her home for many years. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; and 10 siblings. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 29th, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 A.M. until the service.
