June Rose Richardson

June Rose Richardson, age 90, of Charlotte, formerly of Warren, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2020. She was born December 30, 1929, in Detroit, the daughter of Leo and Rose (Rohowiac) Van Poucker. On December 27, 1950, in Detroit, June married Rick Richardson. June was a tremendous supporter of her children and grandchildren in all their pursuits. She enjoyed giving back to her community. She personified being a true volunteer. June loved stamp and coin collecting and rebating. June is survived by her children: Julie Brown of Maple City, Chuck Richardson of Harrison, Cindy (Glenn) Adamek of Lexington, Gerry (Jenny) Richardson of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Su Richardson of Payson, AZ; son-in-law, Ed Karnes of Lexington; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Richard Van Pouker of Crystal River, FL. She was preceded in death by her infant son; parents; husband, Rick; son, Ron Richardson; daughter, Nancy Karnes; grandson, Jason Richardson; granddaughter, Toiko Tonissen Kleppe; and brother, Leo Van Pouker. In keeping with June’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
