Katherine R. Winchell

Katherine Rae Winchell age 60 of Charlotte, MI, died Friday Sept. 11, 2009 at the Eaton Community Hospice House in Charlotte after a short illness. Katherine was born July 28, 1949 in Charlotte, the daughter of Lawrence and Frieda (Grunderman) Winchell and was a longtime resident of Charlotte, having also lived in Florida, Nashville, MI and Lansing, MI. Surviving are: her son, Jamie Winchell; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Joyce White, Alice Ormsbee, Robert Marshall, Corky Bailey, Joan Burkett, Susie Swift and Percilla Morris. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Winchell. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements by Burkhead-Green Funeral Home of Charlotte.
