Katherine Sue Hunt

Katherine Sue (Jeffery) Hunt of Olivet, MI, age 66, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte. Kathy was born April 13, 1946 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Wayne A. and Naomi (Wardwell) Ingram and was a lifelong Olivet resident. She had been the owner/operator of the Double Nickel Party Store in Olivet. She loved and was proud of the Olivet Community and contributed much to it’s well being. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Kristy Taylor of Olivet and Jodi Harris of Charlote; step-son, Bobby (Lindsey) Hunt of Cement City; 2 step-daughters, Suzie Hunt of Kalamazoo and Lisa Meyers of Plainwell; 6 grandchildren, Jami, Jenna, Brad, Zack, Jake and Sienna; her brother, Michael (Elizabeth) Ingram of Olivet and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Dean O. Hunt; her parents, Wayne & Naomi Ingram and brothers, Larry and Steve Ingram. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may go to the Olivet Fire Department Medical First Responders or to the Eaton Community Palliative Care of Charlotte.
