Kenneth Lee Merritt, Jr. of Charlotte, Michigan, age 45, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing after a long illness. Kenneth was born September 25, 1971 in Charlotte the son of Kenneth Lee and Sandra Lee (Sheets) Merritt, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of Charlotte. He is survived by: his father, Kenneth Lee Merritt, Sr.; his sister, JoLynn (Venkat) Bhashyam of Windham, NH; niece, Jessica Albert of Woburn MA and nephew, Krystopher Berg of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Lee Merritt in 1991. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte.
