Lois Arlene Lavoy, age 88, of Sumner, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019, at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant. She was born March 6, 1931, in Spooner, WI the daughter of Leonard and Helen (Andrus) Campbell. Lois graduated from Cedar Lake Academy. She was a devoted long-time member of the Riverdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Lois was a terrific gardener. She was especially fond of her flowers. She enjoyed watching game shows, reading, and watching birds. Lois is survived by her daughters: Rosemary Kummerow of McHenry, IL, Rebecca (Dan) Zmich of St. Louis; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde "Dave" Lavoy Jr. in 2000; children: Benjamin Lavoy in 1957, Clyde "Dave" Lavoy Jr. in 1982, Debra Lavoy in 2009; siblings: Edith Damer, Eunice Miller, Earl Campbell, Lauren Campbell, and Leon Campbell. In keeping with Loiss wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring, may make contributions in Loiss honor to Woodland Hospice House, 2597 S. Meridian Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858.
