Lorraine Dorothy Foote

Lorraine D. (Schwenk) Foote of Vermontville, MI, age 88, died Monday, January 5, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Foote was born June 25, 1926 in Mt. Clemens, MI the daughter of Stephen and Leona (Rademacher) Schwenk and had been a Vermontville area resident since 1967. She has been mainly a homemaker but had been employed by the L’Anse Creuse School System before coming to Vermontville. Surviving are: her husband of 46 years, Dale K. Foote, Jr.; 3 daughters, Lauren Coddington of Mt. Clemens, Jodie (Steve Kilpatrick) Grzadzinski of Lansing and Tammi Gearhart of Lansing; 5 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Grzadzinski, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Per Mrs. Foote’s prior request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
