Lowell Nelson Powers

Lowell N. Powers of Charlotte, Michigan, age 94, passed away on Monday May 22, 2017 at the Eaton County Health and Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte. Lowell was born November 23, 1922 in Brookfield Township of Eaton County the son of Homer J. and Jennie R. (Smant) Powers and was a lifelong resident of Brookfield Township and a lifelong Farmer. Surviving are: sister-in-law, Florence Powers; niece, Sharon Roiter; nephew, Larry (Cindi) Powers; 5 great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; his parents; nephew, Gary Powers; nephew, Earl Roiter and brothers, Kenneth, Lawrence and Robert Powers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Irene Vittoz officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to the Brookfield United Methodist Church United Methodist Women. www.burkhead-greenfuneralhome.com.
