Lucille Ida Holz

Lucille Ida Holz, age 90, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23, 2022, in Lansing. She was born July 11, 1932, in Lansing the daughter of Oswald and Carrie (Hildorf) Holz. Lucille was a devoted and life-long member of First Lutheran Church of Charlotte. She retired after many faithful years of service from Lansing Community College. Lucille is survived by her sons: Thomas (Shelley) Heinze, Garry (Tona) Heinze, Greg Heinze, Brad Heinze; grandchildren: Bret (Maria) Heinze, Stephanie Heinze, Leah Heinze, Maria Heinze; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Alexis, and Christopher Heinze, Daniel and Sophia Julca-Heinze, Mariah, Michaelah and Dakota Rahe, Chase Vanhaun; brother, Walter (JoAnn) Holz; sister, Helen (Al) Holcomb; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Russell Holz and Eric Holz. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11 A.M. at First Lutheran Church of Charlotte with Pastor Sean Esterline officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lansing.
