Lucille Irene Oster

Lucille I. Oster of Bellevue, MI, age 70 died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 in Lansing, MI. Mrs. Oster was born April 20, 1943 in Lansing, MI to Dwayne R. and Tessibel (Marolf) Wallace and later adopted by Lottie Vermilion. She had been employed for 30 years as a Secretary at Michigan State University Parks and Recreation Department from where she retired. She was a Representative for the Clerical Technical Union at M. S. U. (CTU) and was currently a member of the Eaton Area Senior Center in Charlotte at which she enjoyed the activities. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Suzanne (Greg) Good of Bellevue, Sherri (Bob) Markowitz of Roscommon, MI and Michelle Oster of Britton, MI; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 3 brothers and 11 sisters. At Mrs. Oster’s prior request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2-4 P. M. at the Eaton Area Senior Center, 804 S. Cochran in Charlotte, MI. Those attending are encouraged to bring a dessert and a memory of Mrs. Oster to share. Memorials may go to the family.
