Margaret Evelin Jones

Margaret Evelin Jones, age 95, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024. She was born September 28, 1929, in Bath, Michigan, the third of eight children, to Frank and Pauline (Scholl) Mason. She attended school in St. Johns and graduated from St. Johns High School. She married William H. Jones in May of 1949, in Muncie, Indiana. Margaret and Bill loved traveling together throughout the years. You could often find her crocheting in her free time. Margaret was a long-time member of the Potterville Order of Eastern Star and served in numerous different capacities.
Margaret is survived by her son, Tom (Kathy) Jones; grandchildren: Bill (Erica) Jones, Brandy (Mark) Bishop, Michelle (Lenny) Cruz, James (Kara) Jones; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill in 1980; sons, James H. Jones, Timmerman J. Jones; and seven siblings.
In keeping with Margarets wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned.
