Marija Cousino

Marija D. Cousino, age 65 of Olivet, MI, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at the Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Mrs. Cousino was born June 17, 1948 in Zagreb, Croatia the daughter of Ladislav and Helen Skubitz. She was a retired employee of General Motors in Lansing and was currently a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Charlotte. Surviving are: 5 children, Cari (Bill) Ferman of Homer, James Douglas (Michelle) Cousino, Jr. of Concord, Joseph Michael Cousino of Lansing, Nicki Jo Cousino of Battle Creek and Victor E. Bustic of Chicago; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and her sister, Vesna Kostek Sakic of Croatia. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Cousino on Aug. 4, 2012. Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:00 P. M. Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Lee Center Cemetery, Olivet with Rev. Fr. David Rosenberg of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Charlotte officiating. Memorial contributions may go to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 807 St. Mary’s Blvd., Charlotte, MI 48813.
