Marjorie M. (Linsley) Hansen of Nashville, MI, formerly of Charlotte, age 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at the Oak View AFC Home, Hastings after an extended illness. Mrs. Hansen was born Feb. 28, 1923 in Kalamo Township of Eaton County the daughter of Earl M. and Esther (Damm) Linsley. She had been mainly a homemaker but previously had been employed by the Battle Creek Schools and the Kellogg Co. She was a member of the Ainger Bible Church and the Maple City Post #2406 V.F.W. Auxiliary in Charlotte. Surviving are: her son, Scott Hansen of Charlotte; her daughter, Rae Ann (Larry) Rollins of Nashville; 5 grandchildren, Jodi (Dan) Johnson, Scott (Cari) Hansen II, Heidi Hansen, D.C., Michael Rollins and Heather (Ryan) Bansemer; 11 great grandchildren, Hayden, Ethan, Trey & Ellery Johnson, Logan & Malia Hansen, Anthony & Alana Rollins, Kay, Selena & Lauren Bansemer; brother, Lloyd (Thelma) Linsley of Hastings and sister, Betty Rockford of Williamsfield, OH. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Kay Ann Hansen; her husband, Frederick Hansen; brother, Earl Linsley and sister, Lulu Linsley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 27, at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home of Charlotte with Pastor Daniel Smith and Pastor Brett Myers officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
