Mark Diller

Mark R. Diller, born April 13, 1946, died December 13, 2020, at the age of 74 years, 8 months. He was a member of the Maple River Mennonite Church. He was the son of the late Amos H. and Fannie H. (Risser) Diller, and the husband of Thelma J. (Martin/Weaver) Diller. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five sons: Jay Mark (Ruth Elaine), Carlisle, PA; Ralph (Deborah Joy) Adams, NY; Melvin (Marla) Carlisle, PA; Myron (Leah) Carlisle, PA; Aldine, Wahsingtonboro, PA; two daughters: Arlene (Reuban) Maritn, York, PA; Luella, Carlisle, PA; four stepsons: Jonathan (Debra) Weaver, Lowville, NY; Mervin (Lois) Weaver, Boiling Springs, PA; Philip (Rebekah) Weaver, Mohawk, NY; Roger Weaver, Mohawk, NY; two stepdaughters: Susan Weaver, Telford, PA; Sylvia Weaver, at home; forty grandchildren; four great grandchildren; thirteen step grandchildren; two brothers: Mahlon R. of PA; Eunice R. Strite-Petre, Greencastle, PA; Esther R. (Elam) Martin, Greencastle, PA; one sister-in-law, Naomi R. Diller-Martin. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rachel C. (Shank); one brother, Jacob R.; one sister, Rhoda R. Petre; four brothers-in-law: Warren Martin, Milton Strite, Laban Horst, and Aldus Petre; one sister-in-law, Fannie Diller. A short service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 6 P.M. at the Maple River Mennonite School. The family will receive friends after the service until 8 P.M. at the school. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020, at 10 A.M. in Pennsylvania, with Brethren David Brubaker, Timothy Leid, Jeffrey Jarmon, and Leroy Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Mennonite Church Cemetery.
