Mary Helen Krebs

Mary Helen (Winn) Krebs age 82 of Charlotte, MI, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility, Charlotte after a long illness. Mary Helen was born March 24, 1928 in Alliance, OH the daughter of Frank S. and Rosalia (Brantingham) Winn and had been a Charlotte area resident since 1964. She was the retired owner/operator of the former Krebs Adult Foster Care Home in Charlotte. She was a member of the Charlotte Free Methodist Church. Surviving are: her husband of 61 years, Richard W. Krebs; 5 children, Ronald (Ellen) Krebs of Cass City, MI, Barbara (Dr. Ted) Scofield of Livingston, MT, Nancy (Daniel) Pick of Charlotte, MI, Amelia (Garth) Banks of Indianapolis, IN and Becky (Frank) Balluff of Charlotte, MI; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anna June (Curtis) Chamber of Terre Haute, IN and Florence Mae (Paul) Ross of Haviland, KS and 1 brother, Donavon (Marilyn) Winn of Salem, OH. She was preceded in death by: her parents, brothers, Charles and Harold Winn and daughter-in-law, Darlene Krebs. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Merle Bradley and Rev. Rebecca Morrison officiating. Visitation will be held also on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 12 Noon at the Funeral Home.
