Mary Jane Carrier

Mary Jane Carrier, age 63, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She was born March 29, 1957, in Detroit, the daughter of Emil and Saraphine (Destrampe) LaPlante. Mary graduated from Riverview High School with the class of 1975. On January 21, 1977, she married Samuel Thomas Carrier Jr. in Trenton, MI. Mary enjoyed quilting, collecting rocks, and spending time at the pool. She was also very found of the Upper Peninsula and loved visiting all of its many waterfalls. Above all Mary cherished her family and loved spending time together. She is survived by her husband, Tom; siblings: Alice Lindenmuth of Sacramento, California, Roger (Fran) LaPlante of Carlton, Emil (Maryanne) LaPlante of Carlton, Barbara Folco of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Elizabeth (Gary) Kloosterman of Tampa, Florida. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and beloved son, Travis Sean Carrier in 2013. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
