Mary L. Stafford

Mary L. Stafford of Charlotte, MI, age 77, died Monday June 1, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Stafford was born Dec. 30, 1937 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Stanley and Ruth (Deeble) Davis and had been a Charlotte area resident since 1964. She was a retired Accountant. She had served on The Charlotte Community Library Board of Directors, was a member and actively involved in the St. John’s Episcopal Church, was a member of the Art Guild, was active in the Therapy Dog Program and had delivered Meals On Wheels. She is survived by: two daughters, Susan Lynn Stuart Richardson of Florida and Karen Lee Endres of Wrangell, Alaska and 5 grandchildren, Tracey, Jacob, Jessica, Bryan and Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace G. “Bud” Stafford and granddaughter, Sky. At Mrs. Stafford’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday June 6, 2015 at the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte with Rev. Dr. Carol Spangenberg officiating.
