Nancy Ann Henderson

Nancy Ann Henderson passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023 after a short but courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Nancy was born in Detroit on March 21st, 1955, the daughter of Leonard and Theresa Sevek. She graduated from Lamphere High School and then went on to Graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in Nursing which led to a long fulfilling passionate career as a nurse with most of that spent working at Ingham Regional Medical Center. She had a kind heart and helping people was always what made her happy. She loved cooking and baking, gardening and spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and pocket treat nana.

To remember her with love and memories are; her daughter, Chloe Henderson (Justin Salazar), grandkids David and Stella Salazar; brothers, Gary (Linda) Sevek, Glen (Sue) Sevek and sister Susan; her companion and dear friend, Ed Tardino; many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends that she always looked at as family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; stepson, Chad; and her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
