Nancy Ann (Thompson) Strong

Nancy Ann (Thompson) Strong of Charlotte, MI, age 54 died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 after an extended illness. Nancy was born Oct. 4, 1956 in Eaton Rapids, MI the daughter of Leslie and June (Jardot) Thompson and had been a lifelong Eaton County resident. She was a 1974 Graduate of Maple Valley High School and loved working in her yard and garden. Surviving are: her daughter, Jennifer (Blake) Upright of Vermontville; 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Lauren & Grace Upright; brother, Brad Thompson of Lansing; sisters, Carol Baker of Tennessee and Kellie (Kenneth) Criscoe of Troy, NC; brother-in-law, Derek (Ann) Strong of Dewitt and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 30 years, Steven C. Strong on June 26, 2010 and her brother, Greg Thompson recently. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Greg Rinehart officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
