Noble W. Wirt

Noble Wirt of Charlotte, MI, formerly of Holt, MI. Age 88 went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 9, 2012 in Charlotte, MI. Mr. Wirt was born April 13, 1924 in Lansing, MI, the son of Harold and Cordelia (Taggart) Wirt. Noble was a member of Charlotte Assembly of God Church and was very involved in church ministries. Surviving are: his wife, Fran; 4 children, Harold Wirt of Charlotte, Ken (Karen) Wirt of Charlotte, Dianne (John) Ames of Grand Ledge and Dawn (Larry) Michels of Lompoc, CA; 3 step children, Paul (Dena) Lahr, Pete (Petra) Lahr and Brian (Holly) Lahr all of Charlotte; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Orin Wirt of Holt. Noble was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Orie Wirt, Garland Wirt and Russell Wirt; 1 sister, Ilah Walker and 1 grandson, Keith Wirt. A Celebration of Noble’s life will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Charlotte Assembly of God Church, 1100 E. Clinton Trail/M-50, Charlotte, MI with Pastor Mark Woodbury officiating. The family will receive their friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte and on Friday from 10:00 A. M. until time of services at the Church.
