Norma Jean Etson

Norma Jean (Gregg) Etson of Olivet, MI, age 82, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 at the Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte. Norma was born March 24, 1933 in Charlotte the daughter of Murl and Darleen (Finch) Gregg and was a lifelong Olivet and Charlotte area resident. She was a 1951 Graduate of Charlotte High School. She was mainly a homemaker but for a short time had worked as a Telephone Operator for Mich. Bell Telephone Co. in Charlotte. She attended Ainger Bible Church at Olivet. Surviving are: her five children, Sandra (Peter) Rice of Denver, CO, Stephen (Lynn) Etson of Bellevue, Stephanie (Dave) Halliwill of Charlotte, Robin (Brian) Wells of Garland, TX and Gregory (Debra) Etson of Olivet; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Calvin J. Etson and her brother, Larry Gregg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Brett Myers of the Ainger Bible Church officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Charlotte. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
