Norma Jean (Ripley) Goodnoe of Olivet, MI, went home to her Lord on July 19, 2011. Norma was born on September 5, 1952 to Aaron Edwin and Dorothy May (Wilson) Ripley in Charlotte, Michigan. She graduated from Olivet High School, Olivet, Michigan in 1971. She married James Edward Goodnoe on the 19th of February, 1972 in Olivet, they spent 21 years traveling the country and world, while he served in the U. S. Army. Surviving are her loving husband, James; one daughter, Susan M. Goodnoe both of Olivet; her step mother, Leah Woodman of Tennessee; mother-in-law, Vesta Murphy of California; three sisters, Nancy (Marvin) Cox of Otsego, Nora Kay (David) Homer of Kalamazoo and Rhonda Ripley of Tennessee and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Ripley, mother, Dorothy Ripley and father-in-law, Gale Murphy. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Olivet Congregational Church in Olivet, MI with Pastor Jack Brown officiating. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to the Memorial service on Wednesday at the Church.
