Ollie Barnett

Ollie (Cole) Barnett of Olivet, MI, age 91, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 at Country Living AFC Home, Olivet. Ollie was born Feb. 1, 1920 in Magoffin County Kentucky a daughter of Elbert and Polly (Salyers) Cole and had been a resident of the Springport/Olivet area since 1937. She was a founding member of the Faith Assembly of God, Olivet, MI and had been President of the former Hunt School Board. Surviving are: 2 sons, Donnie (Janice) Barnett of Bellevue and Barry (Carol) Barnett of Battle Creek; 3 daughters, Faye Louise (Lowell) Greene, Judy (Lester) Robinson and Cindy (Dale) Waun all of Olivet; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 12 great great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Adam Barnett in 1997 and by 4 brothers and 10 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Todd McLane officiating. Interment will be in the Rice Creek Cemetery in Lee Township. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Memorials may go to the Faith Assembly of God or the Alzheimers Association.
