Pamela Sue Obrinski-Babcock

Pamela Sue Obrinski-Babcock, age 73, of Olivet passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born March 4, 1944 in Albion, MI the daughter of Charles W. and Doris E. (Darling) Roberts. On March 13, 1999 she married Richard F. Babcock in Tucson, AZ. Pam graduated from Albion High School. Soon after graduation she went on to attend the Chicago School of Floral Design. After graduating from there she pursued her lifelong career in floral design. Pam was passionate about all types of flowers and took great pride in designing them into spectacular arrangements. After her retirement she could often be found working around her yard or helping others with any and all floral dilemmas. Pam adored her family and always looked forward to every opportunity she had to spend together. Pam is survived by her husband Richard; son, James Alan (Candy) Obrinski and their children Tyler McGlaughlin, Audrey McGlaughlin, and Keith; step-son, Mike Babcock and his children Nicki (Matt) Sims , Braxton Sims, Matt (Jamie) Babcock,; step-daughters: Carla (Randy) Mills and their daughter Randi Kay Stine; Jamie Southern and her children Wayne Babcock, Jennie Zakora Cook; and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 4 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Charles Jenson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
