Patrick Owen Mclane

Patrick Owen McLane age 84 of Countryside, IL (Chicago area) died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at his residence. Mr. McLane was born June 23, 1928 in Charlotte, MI the son of Owen and Marguerite (Patrick) McLane. He had served in the U. S. Navy near the end of World War Two and had attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fla. He was an ordained Minister and Home Missionary in the Assemblies of God having been ordained in 1953. He retired from the active ministry in 1993. Surviving are: his four children, Rachel McLane of Westville, IN, Yvonne Hayat of Indianapolis, IN, Lowell (Abbe) McLane of Feeding Hills, MA and Stephen (Julie) McLane of Westville, IN; seven grandchildren, Cyrus & Daniel Hayat, Stephanie (Tyler) Haithcock, Erin (Anthony Rose, Ryan (Taylor) McLane and Patrick & Breanna McLane and 3 great grandchildren, Rylie McLane, Abbe Rose & Zane Haithcock; sisters, Jane Arden Farley, Jolene McLane, Julie Anne (Bernard) Hall, Coralyn (Gorden) Sixberry and Lonna (Lester) Bruder; brothers, Carroll McLane, Michael (Nancy) McLane, Terry (Louise) McLane and David (Jodie) McLane and sisters-in-law, Dee McLane and Kathy McLane. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dick and Tom McLane, brother-in-law, Garth Farley and sister-in-law, Jean McLane. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at the Faith Assembly of God, 9800 S. Cochran Rd., Olivet, MI with Pastor Todd McLane officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 A. M. until time of services at the church. Interment with Military Honors will be at 1:30 P. M. Friday at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. www.burkhead-greenfuneralhome.com
