Pauline Vail Warren

Pauline V. Warren, age 104, of St. Johns, passed away peacefully at Grace Haven Assisted Living on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Pauline was born February 11, 1918, to Ward and Henrietta (Palmer) Vail in St Johns. She went on to graduate from St. Johns High School with the class of 1936. She married Melvin W. Warren on April 3, 1937. She and Mel owned the Mel Warren Insurance Agency and H & R Block in St. Johns, She was the oldest living member of the former First Congregational Church of St. Johns. Pauline is survived by sons, Douglas Palmer (Kathleen) Warren, Melvin Winfield (Laura) Warren Jr., Richard Everett (Sara) Warren, 11 grandchildren, Jonathon, Christine, Laura, Catherine, Lawrence, Matthew, Wesley, Jessica, Mitchell, Elizabeth and Emily, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin in 2010; sisters: Jeanne Rand, Virginia Teich; and brother, Theodore Vail. Funeral Services will be Friday April 29, 2022, at 4:00 P.M at Community Church, 100 Maple Ave, St Johns with burial following at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Those desiring, may make contributions in Pauline’s memory to Community Church St. Johns Campus.
