Ramona Lajean Lavoye

Ramona LaJean LaVoye, age 81, of Charlotte, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. She was born July 5, 1938, in Harrison, Michigan the daughter of Byrl and Elsie (Bailey) Davis. On June 16, 1956, she married Max LaRen LaVoye in Isabella Township, Isabella County, MI. Ramona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an extremely hard worker, who took great pride in a job well done. She enjoyed canning, cooking, gardening, and arts and crafts. Ramona is survived by her children: Loretta Baker of Farwell, Jeffrey Max (Nora) LaVoye of Houghton Lake, Steve LaRen LaVoye of Charlotte; grandchildren: Brad Baker Jr., Patrick Baker, Philip Baker, Jessica Spotts; 10 great grandchildren; siblings: Peggy Hardy, Faye Davis; twin brother, Jay Davis, and Larry Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Max LaRen LaVoye in 1997; siblings: Darlene Jerred, Sandra Davis, Terry Davis, Keith Davis, and Robert Davis.
