Rayford Opal White, Jr.

Rayford Opal White Jr., age 70, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He was born November 16, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee the son of Rayford and Barbara (Hilliard) White. He graduated from Lansing Everett High School in 1970. Soon after graduation he went to work for the State of Michigan and retired after many years of service. In his spare-time he enjoyed golfing and gambling at local casinos. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rayford is survived by his sister, Mary (Ike) Basye, Donna (Bernie) Arend, Wanda (Marty) Bliesener, Penny Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 4 P.M. at Real Life Church 1848 S. Cochran Ave., Charlotte, MI 48813 with Pastor Andy Shaver officiating.
