Raymond H. Brundage of Charlotte, MI, age 83, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at the Island City Assisted Living in Eaton Rapids. Ray was born July 8, 1933 in Charlotte the son of Lloyd and Anna (Schroeder) Brundage and had been a life resident of the Charlotte area. He was a Graduate of Charlotte High School, had served in the U.S. Army from 1954-56 and had been employed as a meat cutter for Allen Packing Co. and later at Carter’s IGA from where he retired. He was a member of the Crossroads United Brethren in Christ Church in Charlotte. Surviving are: three sons, Donald (Lisa) Brundage of Charlotte, Douglas (Cynthia) Brundage of Macomb, MI and Troy Brundage of Charlotte; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren (and one on the way) and two brothers, Bruce (Rose) Brundage of Charlotte and George Brundage of Holt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 55 years, Alice Brundage in 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Ricky Hull of Crossroads United Brethren in Christ Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Charlotte.
