Raymond Weston Snyder of Charlotte, MI, age 94, passed away Dec. 23, 2015 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care. Raymond was born October 11, 1921 in Charlotte, MI the son of Raymond R. and Gladys (Karr) Snyder. He graduated from Charlotte High School in 1940, served in the U. S. Navy for 6 years, retired from G. M. in 1985 and was a member of the Charlotte Lodge #120 F. & A. M. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Justine (Malcuit) Snyder; four children, Janiece (Gary) Frace, Cathy (Alan) Baird, Michael (Jo Dean) Snyder and Michelle (James) Mitchum; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Glenna Potter and brother-in-law, Bruce Malcuit. Predeceased by sister, Norma Johnson and brother, Philip Snyder. Raymond’s wishes for cremation were honored and a memorial service will be held on Sunday December 27th at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Eaton Community Palliative Care or the Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church.
