Richard Billsen

Richard Charles Billsen, age 69, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at McLaren Hospital in Lansing. He was born December 2, 1950, in Lansing the son of Harold and Shirley (Thomas) Billsen. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed riding every opportunity he had. Richard also enjoyed golf, fishing, and collecting fire arms. Above all he loved his boys and their families. Richard is survived by his sons: Richard (Bridget) Billsen of Charlotte, Paul (Tracie) Billsen of Charlotte, Troy (Ashley) Billsen of Texas; grandchildren: Maleena, Wyatt, Brody, Quinn; sisters: Theresa Sparks, Kathy Alvera, and Esther McCune. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service with military honors will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Friday, August 21, 2020, at 12 P.M.
