Richard L. Jackson, age 94, was born on April 7, 1931, to Stephen and Marie (Connelly) Jackson in Paulding, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, in Charlotte, Michigan. He was a devoted family man and a cherished friend to many.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, demonstrating courage and dedication that would resonate throughout his life. After his service, he became a skilled stone mason and dedicated many years to the construction industry, where he earned respect for his craftsmanship and commitment to quality.

An avid lover of family and friends, Richard cherished the moments spent in their company. He enjoyed cooking for his loved ones, particularly delighting them with his homemade pies. His personality shone brightly during family gatherings and holidays, where laughter and warmth filled the room.

Richard had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting during his time in nature, as well as spending time at home in Lady Lake, Florida. He also found joy in playing cards and traveling, always eager to make memories with those closest to him.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Judy and Kent Armstrong, Susan and Ralph Davis, and Karen and Erwin Graham; his son, Stephen and Debbie Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is also remembered by his brother, Stanley and Erline Jackson. He joins his parents, Stephen and Marie Jackson; his son, Robert Jackson; and his former wife, Barbara Jackson, in eternal rest.

The legacy of Richard L. Jackson will live on through the love and memories he created with his family and friends. His remarkable life is a testament to the bonds of love and the joy found in the simplest of moments.
