Robert Joseph White

Robert J. White of Charlotte, MI, age 86, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Bob was born Nov. 24, 1929 in Chester Township of Eaton County the son of LeRoy and Mary (Mitchell) White and was a lifelong area resident. He was a lifelong farmer and had been employed as an Electrician at the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. for 26 years. Surviving are: his son, Joseph R. White of Charlotte; his sister, Rose (Bruce) Brundage of Charlotte; his former wife, Edith Conklin of Charlotte and several nieces, Nephews, grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gloria Albu and Betty Scott. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Albert Gareth Conklin officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of services at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. www.burkhead-greenfuneralhome.com
