Robert L. Brandon

Robert L. “Bob” Brandon age 63 of Charlotte, MI, died Monday, September 21, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. Bob was born Oct. 17, 1945 in Cadillac, MI the son of Albert and Nellie (Johnson) Brandon and had lived most of his life in the Charlotte/Vermontville area. He had been employed by the A. E./Hoover Co. in Charlotte for 28 years and later at the Heart Truss Co. of Lansing from where he retired. He was a member of the Charlotte Eagles. Surviving are: his daughter, Kayleen (David) Wehr of Charlotte; 2 sons, Bobby Dean (Dawn) Brandon of Lansing and Brian (Sara) Brandon of Bellevue; 6 grandchildren, Shaun Wehr, Kyle Wehr, Josh Brandon, Damon Brandon, Sierra Brandon and Kevin Brandon; 4 sisters, Virginia (Reggie) Potter of Charlotte, Sandra (Billie) Eggleston of Charlotte, Ruth Lawcock of Illinois and Maryjane (John) Meyers of Charlotte and 3 brothers, Ronny (Carol) Brandon of Holt, Donny Brandon of Lansing and Vern (Sue) Brandon of Sheridan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sue (Tyler) Brandon in 2006, brother, Glenn Brandon, sister, Dixie Weaver and special friend, Pat Hunt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Charles Jenson officiating. Interment will be in the Kalamo Hillside Cemetery in Kalamo Township.
