Robert Lewis Edick, Sr.

Robert Lewis Edick Sr., age 85, of Port Richey, Florida formerly of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He was born July 22, 1938, in Charlotte the son of Clarence and Leda (Kiester) Edick. Bob graduated from Springport High School with the class of 1956. Bob proudly served in the United States Army. On January 1, 1961, he married Janis R. Janousek. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family with a deep devotion and always saw to it that they were well cared for. In his spare-time he enjoyed hunting, spending time outdoors, and traveling in his motorhome throughout the country with Janis at his side. Work was important to Bob. He loved what he did and it was made evident through his many successful ventures.

Bob is survived by his sons, Robert L Edick, Jr., Mark Edick; grandsons, Trevor Edick and Mason Edick.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Janis in 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 1 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
