Rodney Lee Mann, born May 28th, 1958 of Holland, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 10th, 2017. Rod was born and grew up in Charlotte, MI and graduated from Charlotte High School in 1976. Son of Robert and Rosanna Mann (Finch), he is survived by his significant other Tangi Allen, Brother Rex (Shelly), and sister Toni. Proud father to Jason Mann (Amanda), Jennifer Knoll (Brent), and Cody Mann. Rod also raised Courtney Newton as his own. Loving grandfather to Gracie, Liliana, Cameron, Ethan, Lorelei, Elizabeth, Jordan, and Cameron. Rod is also survived by other family and friends. Rodney (“Rod,” “The Rod”) retired from the GM parts plant in Lansing, MI after 30 years. After retirement Rod fulfilled dreams of owning a cabin in upstate MI as well as living in Venice, FL within site of the Gulf of Mexico before moving back to MI to be closer to his family. Rod raced flat-track dirt bikes in his young-adult years, enjoyed site-seeing, and owned many Harley Davidson motorcycles over the years. He is well remembered for bringing humor to any situation. He will be missed by so many. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to charity of your choice.
