Roger Lee Nevins

Roger Lee Nevins Sr., age 76, of Mason, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 27, 1941 in Lansing the son of Lyle E. and Mattie M. (Ellis) Nevins. Roger graduated from Lansing Sexton High School. He enjoyed many years of bowling throughout Mid-Michigan. Roger retired after many years of service from Care-Free Windows in Charlotte. Roger is survived by his sons: Roger Nevins Jr. of Lansing, Reese Nevins of Grand Ledge, Robert Nevins of Eaton Rapids, Russell (Angela) Nevins of Nashville; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Carol) Nevins of Holt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne K in 1996; 2 grandchildren; brother, Lyle Nevins; and sister, Donna Wood. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 12-4 PM at Spare Time Entertainment, 3101 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing. Inurnment will take place at Benton Township Cemetery.
