Ronald Dean Engel

Ronald D. Engel, age 56, of Charlotte passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at his home. He was born June 7, 1962, in Cincinnati, OH the son of Robert Stanley and Virginia Lee (Myers) Engel Sr. Ronn was passionate about music. He could often be found composing new songs or just relaxing to one of his favorite tunes. He loved his sons with a deep devotion and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. Ronn is survived by his sons: Sean Felix Carter of East Lansing, Joel David Engel of Charlotte; father, Robert S. (Juanita) Engel Sr. of Charlotte; siblings: Bonnie (Gary) Williams of Charlotte, Robert S. Engel Jr. of Charlotte, Steve Engel of Kentucky, Daniel (Nancy) Engel of Charlotte, Mike (Donna) Engel of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Engel. In keeping with Ronns wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring, may make contributions in Ronns honor to the family.
