Ronald Steven Haun

Ronald S. Haun of Olivet, Michigan, age 60, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Ron was born March 26, 1955 in Battle Creek the son of Lloyd and Barbara (Crilly) Haun and was a lifelong Olivet area resident. He was a 1973 Graduate of Olivet High School, had been employed by General Motors in Lansing from where he retired with 30 years of service and was a driver for Team One in Charlotte. He was a lifelong devoted farmer and enjoyed raising his Angus Cattle. Surviving are: his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins; Son, Justin Ryan (Anne Marie Rosa) Haun of Bellevue; Step-son, Bryan Hopkins of Olivet; Step-daughter, Angela (Jeffery) Luoma of Eagle; 5 grandchildren, Jordan Hopkins, Ashley Luoma, Jenna Luoma, Greyden Jack Haun and Justin Ryan Haun, Jr.; former wife and special friend, Cora Ann Haun and his sister, Marilyn Haun of Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roger Haun and sister, Joyce Welch. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Douglas Hammond officiating.
