Rose Ann Emerson

Rose (Flath) Emerson, age 71 of Charlotte, MI, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 with her loving family at her side. Rose was born, Jan. 3, 1941 in Escanaba, MI the daughter of Ralph and Mary C. (Roef) Flath and had lived most of her life in Charlotte. She was a retired employee of Care Free Products of Charlotte with over 25 years of service. She was a member of the Charlotte Eagles Aerie 3552 Ladies Auxiliary, was a member of the Charlotte Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, working puzzles and crocheting. Surviving are: her husband of 53 years, Jerrold Emerson; three daughters, Debbie (Robert Vitale) Eno of Lansing, Dawn (David) Wing of Charlotte and Drema (Aaron) Wilkerson of Vermontville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Betty) Flath of Springport and sister-in-law, Alison Flath of England. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Flath. At Rose’s request, cremation has taken place. Combined Memorial Services with those of her husband, Jerrold C. Emerson will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor John Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A. M. until time of Memorial services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the Eaton Community Palliative Care, Eaton County Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
