Rose Dorothy Soule, age 95, of DeWitt, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at her home. She was born January 10, 1925, in Lansing, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Cipo) Klasko. Rose graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1943. Soon after graduating, Rose went to work assisting in the war effort at a bomb manufacturing plant. It was there that she met the love of her life, Benjamin Soule. Soon after the war they were married. Rose worked at the Lansing Farmers Market for many years, where she worked at various jobs. Rose was a devoted member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude in DeWitt. Her catholic faith was very important to her and she loved her parish and parish community. Rose also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles. Rose is survived by her grandsons: Matthew Soule, Alex (Diana) Soule; great grandson, Devin Soule; and sister, Joanne Klasko. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benjamin; son, James Soule; and 8 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 11 A.M. at the Catholic Community of St. Jude with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrating. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
