Sandra Kay Huver, age 75, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born January 22, 1943, in Lansing the daughter of Earl and Ada (Sellers) Nihart. Sandy graduated from Lansing Eastern High School with the Class of 1961. On May 29, 1963, she married Ronnie Lee Huver in Lansing. Sandy retired after many years of faithful service as a receptionist in the emergency room at Ingham Medical. She loved to do Swedish weaving and made many beautiful blankets throughout the years. Sandy enjoyed spending her summers at Camp Thornapple in Nashville and once the snow began to fly they made their way to their winter home in Silver Springs, Florida. She adored her family and always looked forward to coming back to Michigan in the spring. Sandy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronnie; children: Brian (Mary Jo) Huver of Charlotte, Dana Sue (Brook) Daniel of Ithaca, Jamie L. (Bree) Huver of Charlotte, Chad A. (Veronica) Huver of DeWitt; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Sharon Craney of Missouri, Claudia (Chuck) Clayton of Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Sandys life will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 1 P.M. at Camp Thornapple, 5625 Thornapple Lake Road, Nashville, MI 49073. Those desiring may make contributions in Sandys honor to the Alzheimers Association.
