Selma Farhat Tefft

Selma Farhat Tefft Vermontville, MI Age 89 passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 in Lansing. Mrs. Tefft was born Dec. 27, 1922 in Lansing the daughter of David Ferris and Gamely (Farhat) Farhat. She lived most of her life in the Vermontville area. She was a 1941 Graduate of Lansing Central High School and was a former employee of Michigan Bell Telephone Co. Surviving are: her three children, Steven (Gloria) Tefft of Wingate, NC, Michael (Jan Fedewa) Tefft of Vermontville and Susan (Randy) Fogle of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Samuel Farhat of Holt; nieces, Sondra Starr of Lansing and Marlene (Jay) Courser of Lansing and nephew, David Farhat of Northville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Tefft in 1988; her Father and mother, David Ferris Farhat and Gamely Farhat and three brothers, Alfred, Ferris and Andrew Farhat. At Mrs. Tefft’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
